My father and I go here either Saturday or Sunday every week and everyone is so kind to us. One little suggestion (being that I've worked in restaurants my whole adult life). Add a gratuity option on the paper receipt. We're tippers but sometimes don't have cash. We balance it out but still...
We used to love this place but not anymore. Went today for turkey and ham on a flagel, chicken wrap and 2 cookies. Paid $30 for 2 pieces of turkey and ham and a cookie with a bite out of it that was hard as a rock.
The woman in front of me got chicken salad on a bagel and when they handed it to her she said “pretty skimpy on the chicken salad!” They looked at her and said nothing.
Seems like they are trying to save money by putting minimal amounts on sandwiches.
Not sure what happened to this place, but won’t be going back! Check out the photos
A great breakfast stop! Great egg sandwich’s Nice seating with great view of the now busy downtown Farmingdale scene. Large selection. Good coffee. Definitely stop in! S
For the first time I visited here, my son had a game in the area. Thou the sandwich looked delicious tasted ok. It was a manager or owner response when I questioned the cost of a BLT (cold). Her response was we live in New York. My son didn’t like the sandwich, it was over packed with pork bacon. I asked if the sandwich was toasted how much would it cost she said it would cost more. I wouldn’t purchase here again not because of the food it was ok but the cost and way the manager spoke.
Allot of aimless walking around, nobody's doing anything. I literally stared at my order after I asked for it. I was standing there too long to notice the terrible behaviors...
I worked at this bagel place 21 years ago as my first job when I was 13. The food and service were much better then, in fact the food and service were so much better then that it is almost impossible to compare the two fairly because the quality has dropped so far down its in an entirely different atmosphere. The service here is atrocious, the staff is often beyond rude and that is when they're mentally present at all, as when they're not being rude they're so spaced out you can actually stand at the register for minutes without being acknowledged or helped. Incompetency is another aspect in which this establishment excels. Another reason I come here less, and less, and will now stop coming, is that the order is always wrong as well. Something as simple as a ham, egg and cheese should not be made incorrectly, and yet every time I order, no matter what I order, something is not correct. And, lastly what makes the previous point so egregious is the prices they charge. One of the most expensive bagel places on the entire island without any good reason to even still be open. Whoever the new ownership is should be embarrassed about the shop they are now running.
For over 25 years this place has ruined my life. It has created a standard that no other bagel shop can reach for me. It is amazing!!! Whenever I visit Farmingdale I have to come here. Don't do a plain bagel with cream cheese. Try different flavors and it will change your life.
Why has this place degraded in terms of pricing? Why would they charge extra (more than a couple of dollars) for lettuce and tomato in a veggie tuna wrap?? Those items should not be charged separately adding several dollars to the final …
Egg sandwich was good and filling. Price was $2 less than places closer to me. 3 or 4 registers running. Waited less than 10 minutes they called my number I paid. Pretty efficient process.
Excellent. Very reasonably priced. Quality was great. Service 👍🏽. Even coffee was good.
Great job Stuff a Bagel team!!! …
